The limitations for Amyloidosis patients in terms of food can be daunting when you are constantly unsure and worried about how the food you are eating will react to your digestive system. Extreme flatulence, cramps, diarrhea, bloating, constipation, nausea are some of the side effects from having a compromised gut. Malnutrition often happens and gastroparesis occurs in almost all cases. The food listed below are provided based on recommended items for an impaired gut and from feedback received from other Amyloidosis sufferers.
